Gambling den raided
Hyderabad, August 6 (Siasat News): Police Moghalpura arrested nine persons who were involved in gambling and seized Rs. 46000, 13 cellphones and 3 motorbikes from their possession.
Inspector Moghalpura Mr. Syed Fayyaz said that many gambling dens are reportedly running in Moghalpura. Police would also raid them. He added that on a tip off, the gambling den being run Shaheen Heights was raided and nine persons were arrested.
He regretfully said that all arrested persons are Muslims and they were involved in anti-Islami activities unmindful of the holy month of Ramzan. Further investigations are on.
Man escapes on delivery of second daughter
Hyderabad, August 6 (Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a man left his wife and a daughter behind angrily when he came to know that his wife had delivered another daughter.
This incident occurred in Kushaiguda. Inspector women police station, Saroornagar, Laxmi said that following the complaint of 20-year-old woman Rajamani; a case has been registered against Narsimha of Cherlapally.
He had married Rajamnai 5 years back and was very upset and angry over the delivery of the second daughter and left them high and dry. Saroornagar Women police is investigating.
Cylinder blast, one dies
Hyderabad, August 6 (Siasat News): The careless attitude of a man while smoking, turned dearer to him as his entire house was gutted after the cylinder blast. The man also sustained burn injuries and died.
This incident occurred in Bowenpally. According to police sources, 68-year-old Baliah who was a cloth merchant and was living Bapuji Nagar in Bowenpally.
On August 4, he was smoking and threw the cigarette end carelessly which landed near a gas cylinder.
As the cigarette end was still burning, it caught the cylinder that burst and damaged the entire house.
Baliah also sustained burn injuries and succumbed during the treatment. Further investigations are on.
Youth arrested for sending obscene messages
Hyderabad, August 6 (Siasat News): Cyber crime CID police has arrested a youth in connection with sending obscene messages to a girl and kept on harassing her since last two months.
Cyber crime SP CID Hyderabad Mr. Ram Mohan said that police has arrested one Harihara Kumar yesterday. A case was registered following the complaint of the girl.
He said that Harihara had obtained the email ID of the girl and kept on harassing her from his office computer. He has also made a fake ID on Face book and was mentally torturing the girl. Ultimately, CID Cyber crime has arrested him.
The SP has appealed to the people to be very careful while using email Ids and passwords to avoid any possible harassment from any miscreant.
