Fake currency racket busted
(Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has arrested three persons and seized fake currency valued at Rs. 15000/- a laptop and a printer from their possession.
According to the details, one Mohd. Khalid Khaja, 24, a videographer and resident of Yakutpura, hag purchased cigarettes from a pan shop in Rajendranagar and handed over a fake note the shop owner who suspected the validity of the note and informed the police.
Inspector Akram Baba of Rajendranagar immediately reached the pan shop and searched the culprit. He found some more fake notes of Rs. 100 denomination and bearing the same number.
When he was grilled, he disclosed the names of Mohd. Sarwar and Mohd Shaker, both residents of SRT colony, Yakutpura.
Police also arrested them and recovered a laptop; a printer and Rs. 15000 in fake currency and remanded them after registering a case.
Wife ends life after row with husband
(Siasat News): a woman who had quarreled with her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life.
This incident occurred in Kukatpally Housing Board police station limits where Harsha, 26, hanged herself in her house. She was the wife of one Ravi Kumar of Addagutta.
They were at loggerheads over the demand of more dowry from him. Yesterday, they had heated argument where Harsh took the extreme step.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Motorcycle thief arrested
(Siasat News): The crime team of Afzalgunj police has arrested a youth who was involved in motorcycle theft and recovered four bikes from his possession.
As per the details, Mohd. Imran, 21, resident of Vattepally, was a notorious motorbike thief. CCS Police had jailed him in 2011 for stealing 16.
However, after the release from the jail, he again got involved in his notorious activities and this time with the help of his friend Khader, he stole three motorbikes in Afzalgunj police station limits.
Police has recovered all stolen bikes and launched a combing operation for the fugitive Khader.
