Drunken woman driver hits three cars
(Siasat News): A woman driver who had found overdosed of alcohol as against the permitted level, hit three cars in Alwal and created terror in the area.
However, no one got injured. Resident of Marredpally, the 45-year-old woman was driving the car herself returning from a party along with a man. Her blood alcohol content (BAC) was found more than the permitted quantity.
She was driving the car while her male friend was sitting beside her. She lost the control of the car and hit the cars and motorbike.
The people of the locality gathered there and informed the police and arrested the duo. The injured people were shifted to hospital.
Woman officer caught red-handed
(Siasat News): The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested a woman employee belonging to department of agriculture while accepting the bribe and later she was produced in the ACB court.
It is said that the woman agricultural officer from Manchal Mandal of R R district had demanded a bribe of Rs. 2000 from an applicant who sought a license for seeds.
However, when she was accepting the bribe, the ACB sleuths caught her red-handed.
Fire in hotel
(Siasat News): The incident of fire in a hotel in Pahadi Shareef police limits sent shock waves in the locality. This incident occurred last night where the fire broke out in the kitchen of MMT hotel and thick smoke started emanating from the spot.
Fire engine from Moghalpura reached the spot and extinguished the fire in two hours. Police has registered a case following the complaint of Ali Abdul, the owner of the hotel.
However, the police suspect that the chimney of the kitchen might have caught the fire initially that had spread to the entire hotel. Hotel management claimed that it had to face the damages to the cost of Rs. 25, 00,000.
Further investigations are on.
Wife commits suicide due to suspicious husband
(Siasat News): Greeting the New Year proved fatal for a housewife when her suspicious husband started harassing her that led her to end her life.
This incident occurred in Amberpet police limits where Durga Bhavani, 23, poured kerosene on her body on the night of December 31 and set herself ablaze. She was shifted to hospital where she died last night.
She was the wife of one Rajesh and used to work as a housemaid. Both got married four years ago. On December 31, she had greeted someone on phone but her suspicious husband started suspecting her fidelity and harassed her.
Police is further investigating.
