Notorious thief arrested
(Siasat News): Saeedabad police has arrested a notorious thief who used to break open the locks of the houses for theft.
It is said that the police has arrested the thief Amar Singh for the third time during last two years and seized stolen gold ornaments from his possession. Detective inspector Saeedabad Ashok Reddy said that the notorious thief was an alcoholic and was involved in many thefts earlier.
Just two months ago, he had committed the theft by breaking open the locks of the houses in Saraswathi Nagar and Vinay Nagar colony and had stolen 10 tolas gold, which police has recovered from his possession.
Man electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A man electrocuted to death in Madhapur. Police sources said that K Mahesh, 25, a driver, was the resident of Shamshabad.
He was severely injured when he had come into contact with a live electric wire. He was admitted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
Uncle-nephew duo drowned
(Siasat News): In a tragic accident, a man who attempted to save his drowning nephew at Noori Nagar in old city, himself drowned along with his nephew.
Police has fished out the dead bodies of the duo. As per the details, 11-year-old Syed Rizwan Hussain, resident of Jahangirabad, Noori Nagar, was a student and fond of swimming. There was a pond in the vicinity of his house.
Yesterday, he had gone there with his uncle Syed Asif Hussain. However, during the swimming when Rizwan realized that he was drowning, he raised the alarm. His uncle jumped into the pond in an attempt to save his nephew but the fate has something otherwise.
Asif Hussain also drowned along with Rizwan. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Farmer dies by snakebite
(Siasat News): A farmer died when he was bit by a snake. This incident occurred in Bashirabad. Police sources said that the deceased Venkatiah, 40, was a farmer and has been living in Bashirabad.
On October 28, a snake had bit him and his health deteriorated ever since. He was admitted in the hospital where he died last night during the treatment.
A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.
Woman ends life in Langar Houz
(Siasat News): a woman committed suicide in Langar Houz. According to police sources, the deceased J Bhagya, 32, was the wife of one Durgesh of Langar Houz.
However, her husband used to harass her and when the harassment became intolerable for her, she took the extreme step of ending her life.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Woman convict dies during treatment
(Siasat News): A woman convict whose treatment was going on in Osmania Hospital, died during the treatment. Madannapet police has confirmed the death of the convict Olachuwa, 50.
She was the wife of one Malliah of Siddipet. She was in jail in connection with a murder case. However, three months back, she was shifted from Siddipet to Chanchalguda Women’s jail.
She was a chronic patient and yesterday, she had complained about the chest pain. She was admitted to the hospital where she died during the treatment.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
