Three of a family murdered, one arrested
Hyderabad, October 5 (Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has arrested a man who was involved in the murder of three persons of the same family just three days back.
As per the details, on October 1, the dead bodies of Geetha, 35 and her 13-year-old son Chandu’s body was recovered from Maikamma Nagar in Rajendranagar. As the bodies were highly decomposed, the foul smell coming out of the house alerted the neighbours.
Moreover, the house was locked from outside. Police has registered a case and after suspecting Geetha’s husband Yadiah, as the main culprit in this crime, started a search operation for him.
However, just like a suspense thriller, Yadiah’s dead body gave a shock to the police, which was recovered from a pond with injuries marks.
Situation became grim for police and after further investigations, one Pradeep, 25, who was Yadiah’s neighbour, arrested. When he was further grilled, he confessed the crime.
He said that he used to quarrel with Yadiah’s family including his wife on some or the other petty matters. To take the revenge, he committed the crime with the help of two of his aides.
Daughter-in-law set ablaze by in-laws
Hyderabad, October 5 (Siasat News): A woman was allegedly set ablaze by her in-laws. This incident occurred in Falaknuma, old city.
According to Falaknuma police, Bushra Butool, 26, was killed when she was attacked by her husband and other relatives. On September 25, Butool had a row with her husband Mohd. Afzal. Afzal’s relatives were harassing Butool for more dowry.
They all assembled at one place and took the advantage of Butool’s loneliness. They poured kerosene on her body and set her ablaze. Moreover, they tried to remove all the evidences to make it look like a suicide case.
According to sub-inspector Falaknuma Anjaneyulu, Bushra Butool succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment in a hospital. Police has registered a case of murder against Afzal and his relatives.
Afzal was working as a butcher and used to harass his wife over dowry. They were married five years ago and have three children. Further investigations are on.
Gambling den unearthed
Hyderabad, October 5 (Siasat News): The south zone team of commissioner task force has raided a house in Babanagar where gambling was going on and arrested 20 persons.
As per the details, Mohd. Mohsinuddin alias Mohsin Shah, who is the owner of a house in C block of Hafizbaba Nagar.
Earlier, he was associated with real estate business. However, when he faced heavy losses in the business, he converted his house into a gambling den and used to get commission money.
As soon as south zone team of commissioner task force got the tip off, it raided the gambling den and arrested 20 persons along with Rs. 50,000 and mobile phones.
The arrested persons are handed over to Kanchan Baug police station.
