Four arrested with lethal weapons
Hyderabad, July 4 (Siasat News): City police apprehended four persons having criminal background and seized one axe, sword and two daggers from their possession.
The accused are Md. Mansoor, 32, Ataullah Khan, 24, Md. Younus, 23 and Syed Khaja, 32. they were planning to eliminate a rival gangster Fayyaz.
One held for forgery
Hyderabad, July 4 (Siasat News): A person was arrested on Sunday by the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone team for procuring eight LCD TVs under hire purchase scheme by submitting fake documents.
The police seized eight LCD TVs, three fake electoral ID cards, one ration card, a fabricated telephone bills etc., from one Sheikh Siraj who had duped finance companies with the forged documents.
He had obtained the TVs from various electronic showrooms and sold them off to earn easy money.
Beef seller robbed
Hyderabad, July 4 (Siasat News): Some miscreants, in the name of the cow protection, chased an autorickshaw carrying beef from Kamathipura.
They blocked the way of the auto near Puranapul and attacked the persons traveling in auto, snatched beef and threw it in Musi river.
Not only this, they also snatched cellphone and Rs. 5000 cash and fled. Mohd. Ahmed Qureishi who was carrying beef, lodged a complaint with the police and a miscreant Suman Kumar was immediately arrested and confessed his crime when grilled.
According to the sources, Suman Kumar, resident of Raheempura, Mangalhaat along with his associate Mahender Singh, both are the members of Cow Protection Committee, spotted an autorickshaw carrying beef.
They immediately started chasing the auto and blocked its way near Saleem Café, Puranapul and attacked Qureishi and auto driver Khadeer. During their ‘action’ both miscreants were chanting the slogan “Jai Mata Ki’.
The beef was thrown in the Musi river where washermen can be seen washing the clothes. Qureishi brought this incident to the notice of the members of Jamatul Qureish.
They immediately reached Kulsumpura police station and staged a protest against the incident. A case was registered and Suman was arrested. He will be produced in the court.
The other miscreants Mahender Singh, Kishore and Praveen are also arrested according to the reports last came in.
