Man ends life in Hayathnagar
(Siasat News): A man, who was very upset over his domestic disputes and unsound financial conditions, ended his life. This incident occurred in Hayathnagar Police limits where the deceased Gurva Reddy, 30, hanged himself to death who was a private employee and hailed from Guntur.

It is said that he was facing financial crisis and the domestic disputes had added fuel to the fire. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Duplicate product selling shops sealed

(Siasat News): L B Nagar police have taken action against two shops selling duplicate products of renowned companies. The shops were sealed.

It is said that the complaint was lodged by Santoor Soap manufacturers saying that some elements are busy in making duplicate of their products and selling in the market.

Police immediately came into action and raided two kirana shops where it was disclosed that they were selling the duplicate products. Both the shops were sealed by the authorities and seized 300 duplicate Santoor soaps.

22 rescued from child labour

(Siasat News): Police in Sultanshahi came into action and rescued 22 children, mostly from Bihar, who were forcibly recruited in various industrial areas making bangles and leather items.

These children were between the ages of 5 to 13 years. The raid was conducted last night under the supervision of Dy. Commissioner of police V Satyanarayan. Two persons are arrested in this connection.

Aged Omani national held for marrying minor

(Siasat News): Police is trying to prevent the marriages of Arab nationals with underage girls but despite the efforts, this menace is still continued.

In a recent incident, Kanchan Bagh police has arrested a 70-year-old Omani national for marrying a 17-year-old girl where a marriage bureau in Bandlaguda played vital role. The Omani national is identified as one Khameez and the girl was from Hafizbaba Nagar Block A.

It is also said that after marriage, Khameez stayed in a Chandrayangutta lodge for a few days. Police suspect the hand of the girl’s mother in this illegal marriage as well apart from the marriage bureau.

This incident came into light when the girl disclosed about her marriage to one of her relatives and the same incident was brought in the notice of Dy. Commissioner of police (South Zone) Mr. V Satyanarayana. Kanchan Bagh police arrested the Omani national and the girl was sent for medical checkup.

Her ‘husband’ wanted to take her to Oman and had allegedly given Rs. 1,00,000 to her mother. Police is searching all the agents and Qazis involved in this marriage.
