Inter-state robbers gang unearthed
(Siasat News): The crime branch of Hyderabad city police and Panjagutta police in a joint operation unearthed the inter-state gang of robbers and dupers and arrested its kingpin.
In the meantime, additional commissioner of police (crimes) Mr. Sandeep Shindeliya said during a press conference that one Pannu Kumar, 32, said to be an important member of the gang who hails from West Bengal, was arrested.
When he was grilled, he disclosed that he and his other seven accomplices committed 21 crimes in Hyderabad and Cyberabad and the total amount crossed one crore mark.
Further investigations are still on.
Two persons die in train accidents
(Siasat News): Two persons died in two separate train accidents in Kachiguda and Secunderabad.
According to railway police Kachiguda, one Y Christopher, 40, was the son of one David and has been living in Kachiguda railway quarters.
Yesterday, he was trying to get down from a train between Kachiguda and Budvel railway tracks; the he was hit by a train and died.
Railway police Secunderabad said that K Venkatesham, 42, an unemployed man, was found dead in a cabin. Railway police said that he was very upset over his unemployment and might have committed suicide.
Both the cases are registered and further investigations are in progress.
Mentally challenged woman molested
(Siasat News): A 22-year-old mentally challenged woman was molested by a 24-year-old man in Alwal.
Police said the accused dragged the woman into the nearby bushes and attempted to rape the woman. However, she raised an alarm scaring the man away.
According to the police, the woman was walking towards the CRPF Road from Arundhati Road, when the accused Sai Kumar, a local, spotted the victim.
He stopped the motorcycle near the victim and dragged her into nearby bushes and attempted to rape her. When she raised an alarm. Many people rushed to her rescue and in the meantime, Sai Kumar managed to escape.
Police is yet to arrest him.
