Land grabber arrested

(Siasat News): Pahadi Shareef police has arrested a land grabber, who forcibly expelled a widow and grabbed her land at Shaheen Nagar.

The accused Esa Pahelwan had threatened the victim and seized her land after the death of her husband.

According to the police the victim, Haseeba Begum, had purchased a plot at Shaheen Nagar and had built a small house. Though she had started living there but due to the water scarcity, she had shifted to another place.

Three months Esa forged the documents and grabbed the land. Police suspect that earlier, Esa had grabbed the land of other people too.

Following the complaint of the woman, he was arrested. Further investigations are on.

Electricity official caught red-handed

(Siasat News): Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught a line inspector of electricity department red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 25,000 from a person for installing an electricity meters.

ACB said that the accused G Satyanarayana Rao, working at the assistant engineer’s office in Vanasthalipuram, demanded the bribe from one S Prabhakar Reddy to process his application to install electricity meters.

He was caught red-handed in the Karmanghat area and was produced before the ACB court and from there he was sent to judicial remand.

Suspicion over car accident death

(Siasat News): There is suspicion developed over the car accident occurred in the posh area of Jubilee Hills where a girl student of engineering had lost her life. On Sunday, K Devi had lost her life when she was travelling with her friend Bharat in Chevrolet Cruz car that had hit a tree causing the instant death of Devi.

He parents in their complaint to Jubilee Hills police, said that just two minutes before the accident, Devi had called them and had told them that she was reaching home shortly.

Then how come within two minutes she met with a ghastly accident and died whereas the Bharat who was driving the car, sustained minor injuries. So we suspect foul play.

However, police is investigating the case.
