Extortionist arrested
Hyderabad, July 3 (Siasat News): The west zone task force arrested a man for trying to extort money from massage centers by pretending to be a reporter from a local news channel.
According to the police, Motaparti Vamsi Siva Krishna alias Chowdary, 26, was earlier a reporter in a local news channel. On April 15, he along with Surya Babu, Sunil Raj and Basha trespassed into the house of one M G Nirmala, a resident of S R Nagar.
Calling themselves reporters, they threatened Ms Nirmala that she was running a massage parlour in her home and they would expose her on TV if she did not pay them Rs. 50,000. They also stole Rs. 20,000 and two cellphones.
Man arrested with a sword
Hyderabad, July 3 (Siasat News): The east zone team of the task force arrested a person trying to dispose off a sword at Kachiguda.
Lahoot Rakesh Kumar, is a resident of Maulana Azad Nagar in Kachiguda.
According to the police, Rakesh had bought the sword for just Rs. 300 from Jumerat bazaar and trying to sell it at higher price.
Man stabbed to death
Hyderabad, July 3 (Siasat News): A 42-year-old man was stabbed to death by unidentified assailants at his house at Rein Bazar, in the early hours of Friday.
The victim’s wife, who was woken up by his screams, reportedly saw the murderers while they were fleeing. The victim Syed Ahmed Shareef was a resident of Yakutpura.
A murder case was registered under section 302 IPC and further investigations are on.
New bride ends life
Hyderabad, July 3 (Siasat News): A newly married woman took the extreme step of ending her life in Chandrayangutta’s Hafizbaba Nagar.
Her relatives alleged that she was constantly harassed by her husband and he must be the culprit behind her death. This incident came to light after namaz-e-Juma where one Lateefa Tabassum, 20, ended her life by hanging.
She was residing at the C block. She was married to one Azmath, resident of Hafizbaba Nagar who was working as a mason.
Azmath allegedly used to harass Lateefa Tabassum whereas police sources are yet to ascertain the motive behind the suicide.
Fed up with life, police trainee kills self
Hyderabad, July 3 (Siasat News): A police trainee at AP police Academy, committed suicide. He was said to be fed up of his life.
According to police Narsingi, 29-year-old Raj Kumar, who hailed from Warangal, committed suicide by hanging.
Leaving behind a suicide note, he said that nobody was responsible for his death. He was ending his life with his own consent. Further investigations are on.
