House burgled

Hyderabad, June 3 (Siasat News): Robbers broke into the house of a volleyball player Shwetha, in Ravindranagar in Habsiguda and decamped with 40 tola gold and Rs. 40,000 cash.

Shwetha’s husband, Vikram, a businessman, was away in Delhi while she went to her parent’s house on Wednesday night. Further investigations are on.

Auto driver arrested with sword

Hyderabad, June 3 (Siasat News): Task Force sleuths nabbed an auto driver from Mangalhaat, D Venkatesh and seized a sword from him.

Venkatesh purchased the weapon from a passenger one week back and was planning to sell the same at a higher price.

He was waiting near a hotel at Mangalhaat when the police caught him and recovered the weapon from him.

Man hit by train

Hyderabad, June 3 (Siasat News): A man was hit by a train while trying to cross the railway tracks. This incident occurred at Moula Ali.

According to railway police Secunderabad, the deceased was identified as the resident of Kakatiya Nagar who was in the age group of 35 to 40 years.

Five arrested for idol theft

Hyderabad, June 3 (Siasat News): The Task force Central zone team on Thursday apprehended a five member gang while trying to sell an idol of Hindu Goddess Shakthi Mata and seized the idol and cell phones from their possession.

According to the police, they arrested the five-member gang while they were trying to sell the idol.
