Aged man raped 9-year-old
(Siasat News): In a heart-wrenching incident, a 63-year-old man raped a 9-year-old minor belonging to minority community in Jeedimetla.

Additional inspector Jeedimetla police station Mr. Bhaskar Reddy said that the accused Raghunath, resident of Roda Mistry Nagar, called the girl from his neighbourhood to his house on the pretext of showing her the rabbit and later allegedly raped her.

The girl informed her parents about this followed by a complaint lodged by her father. Police immediately came into action and registered a case in compliance with Nirbhay Act and arrested him.

The girl was sent to maternity home for medical test.


Man jumps before a running train, dies

(Siasat News): A man who was constantly harassed by his wife, committed suicide by jumping before a running train. According to railway police Secunderabad, the deceased Mukesh, 40, was a marble labourer and was the resident of Nacharam.

He was very upset over the constant harassment of his wife who had left him and was living at her parent’s house. He jumped before a running train between Lalaguda and Maula Ali railway stations.

Railway police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Florist ends life

(Siasat News): A woman who used to sell flowers at Chilkalguda in Secunderabad, committed suicide. The motive behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.

It is said that the deceased Jyothi, 32, was the wife of one Kishan of Chilkalguda and was in flower selling business. On December, 27, she had poured kerosene on her body and set herself ablaze.

She was shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment last night. Police Chilkalguda is further investigating.

Financial crunch led to suicide

(Siasat News): A man who was under financial crisis took the extreme step of ending his life by consuming pesticide. This incident occurred in Kushaiguda where one Parishad, 27, consumed pesticide on the night of December 31.

He was shifted to the hospital where he died last night. The deceased was a private employee and residing at Yapral. Police said that he was facing financial crisis that led him to commit suicide.

A case has been registered and further investigations are underway.
