Two die in train accidents
(Siasat News): A man near Hafizpet railway station and a girl between Bharat Nagar and Broadband railway station hit by trains that proved fatal for them.

Railway police said that both the deceased are yet to be identified. Police sources further said that the man, 25, had committed suicide by jumping before the train whereas the girl was trying to cross the tracks and was fatally hit by a speeding train.

Further investigations are on.

Man ends life in Gagan Pahad

(Siasat News): A man committed suicide in Gagan Pahad in Shamshabad RGI police limits. As per the details, one M Raju, 43, was the resident of Gagan Pahad and has been working as a labour.

However, he had a bad habit of boozing and beating his wife under inebriated condition. His wife was very upset over this and had left him and living with her parents.

Raju was also dejected and consumed pesticide last night. He was admitted in a hospital where he died during the treatment.

Shamshabad RGI police has registered a case.

Suicide attempt foiled by police

(Siasat News): Lake Police deployed near Hussain Sagar, saved a B.Tech girl student from committing suicide. It is said that T Priyanka, 22, native of Miryalguda in Nalgonda district, has three unmarried sisters whereas their father is a habitual drunkard.

Priyanka was very upset over the unpleasant developments in her family and decided to end her life. With this intention, she reached Hussain Sagar and about to jump into the lake when Lake Police on patrol spotted her and prevented her to end her life.

Later, after counseling, the girl was handed over to her brother.

Minor arrested for stone-pelting

(Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has arrested a minor boy for allegedly hurling stones at the Short firing Range Complex of National Police Academy in Shivrampally.

Inspector Mr. Venkat Reddy said that a complaint was lodged by the Deputy Commandant of CISF Mr. Abhijeet Kumar saying that stones were hurled from the neighbouring area of Hassan Nagar on January 23 and 25 breaking the glass panes.

A case was registered in this connection and after the preliminary investigations, raided a house situated in Hassan Nagar and arrested a minor boy who admitted his involvement in stone-pelting at Police Academy.
