Gold ornaments recovered from woman robber
(Siasat News): Vanasthalipuram police has arrested a woman robber belonging to notorious Kondamma gang and seized 80 tolas gold ornaments and cash.
According to police, the woman Mangamma hails from Guntur’s Tadepally Mandal and was involved in various crimes in twin cities.
Police had arrested her some time back and sent her to jail. The gold ornaments, cash and the receipts of fixed deposits were seized from Mangamma’s bank lockers.
Minor dies with burn injuries
(Siasat News): A minor girl accidentally sustained burn injuries in the outskirts of the city Shivrampally and died.
According to police, Zohra Begum, 9, was the daughter of one Md. Anwar, resident of Mustafa Nagar, Rajendranagar. She was the student of class IV.
On August 27, Zohra lighted the primus stove in order to cook some thing. Suddenly the fire erupted from the stove and Zohra was badly burnt.
She was shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment.
