Mumbai Actress caught in raid
(Siasat News): The Task Force police raided a hotel in Banjara Hills and rescued a Mumbai based actress and a caught a businessman for indulging in prostitution.
The actress hired by the businessman, arrived in the city from Mumbai by a flight in the evening.
Acting on a tip-off, police raided the actress Deepti and the businessman Rajesh Agarwal and took them to police station.
Passenger held at airport for carrying gold
(Siasat News): Custom official arrested a Passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for illegally carrying 700 grams gold valued at Rs. 20 lakh.
The passenger Qazi Aijaz Ahmed, native of Karnataka, arrived from Muscat by an Oman Airways Flight. During the custom checking, he was found in possession of 700 grams gold.A case has been registered.
Man crushed under bus wheel
(Siasat News): A man, who was accidentally fell down from a running RTC bus and had come under the rear wheel of the bus, was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This incident occurred in Saifabad police station limit. The deceased Naveen Sagar, 23, was the resident of S R Nagar.
Yesterday, he was trying to catch a running bus at Lakdi ka pul where he lost his balance and was crushed under the rear wheel of the bus.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Wife attempts suicide, dies
(Siasat News): A woman who had a row with her husband and had attempted suicide, died during the treatment. Bhavani Nagar police said that the deceased Parveen Begum, 25, resident of Javed Nagar in Bhavani Nagar, was the wife of one Syed Arif Hussain.
On June 25, both husband and wife had exchanged heated argument on some petty matter and husband severely beat her. Parveen was very disgusted and poured kerosene oh her body and set herself ablaze.
She had sustained severe burn injuries and was admitted to Osmania Hospital. Police said that the duo got married in 2013 and they had a daughter.
Bhavani Nagar police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
