Student beaten, complaint against teacher
(Siasat News): A case has been registered with Uppal police against a tuition teacher who had severely beaten a student.

As per the details, the student Abhijeet has been studying in Little Star School and taking tuition from one Soujanya teacher. Today, when the teacher found Abhijeet talking with his friends during the class, she severely beat him.

Abhijeet’s father said in his complaint that his son was injured. Further investigations are on.

Labourer ends life

(Siasat News): A labour who was in financial crunch, hanged himself to death. As per the details, the deceased B Satish Kumar, 28, resident of Saroornagar, took the extreme step of ending his life in Mirpet police station limits.

In its preliminary investigations, police said that the deceased was in a financial crunch and wanted to get out of it. Further investigations are in progress.

Minor raped, youth arrested

(Siasat News): Police has arrested a youth in connection with allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl. It is said that the accused Jagdish resident of Yalal Mandal, had raped a minor girl living his neighbourhood and impregnated her.

When the girl’s mother took her for the medical checkup, it was revealed that she was pregnant. Following the complaint of the girl, a case has been registered under Nirbhay Act against the youth and was arrested.

Fall from height proved fatal

(Siasat News): A labour fatally fell down from the fourth floor of a building. This incident occurred in Raidurgam police station limits where the deceased D Ramanna, resident of Pooppalaguda and native of Srikakulam, lost his balance during the work and fell down from the fourth floor.

He sustained severe head injuries and died during the shifting to Osmania hospital. Police has registered a case of negligence against the builder Shiv Shankar Reddy and head mason Srinivas.

Eve-teasing, Madannapet tense

(Siasat News): An incident of eve-teasing created tension in Madannapet. It is said that some local youths teased a girl near Sattar Memorial School.

This matter turned serious when the people from the two communities assembled there. Madannapet police immediately came into action and asked the shop owners and other establishments to down shutters and intensified the patrolling.

Further investigations are on.
