Dead body found in Asmangadh
Hyderabad, May 30 (Siasat News): Sayeedabad police has found a dead body of 28-year-old person from Asmangadh who was identified as Veenu of Malakpet.
The dead body was found near a wine shop. According to the police, the deceased Veenu had not reached to his house since last two days and his relatives were worried.
Police Sayeedabad has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Damage to temple creates tension in Tappachabutra
Hyderabad, May 30 (Siasat News): Tension prevailed in the old city area of Karwan where the people from majority community raised hue and cry over the damage of a temple.
As soon as this news spread, Karwan, Jhirra, Asifnagar, Kulsumpura and Mustaidpura turned into tense areas. Heavy contingent of the police is deployed there and the patrolling was done through the night.
In the meantime, police Tappachabutra said that there was a temple in Kumharwadi, which is said to be a communally sensitive area, and the arch of the temple was slightly damaged. Police is of the opinion that the damage might have caused by children’s play.
But BJP played the religion card and staged strong protest and demanded the stern action against the culprits. Despite the police bandobast, rumour mongers had a field day spreading the false and baseless news that the temple would be totally demolished by some vested interests.
It seemed that the miscreants were trying to pollute the peaceful atmosphere of the city. Police is alert.
Man killed as train hit him
Hyderabad, May 30 (Siasat News): A 35-year-old man was killed as he was hit by a train while trying to cross the railway lines near Borabanda.
According to the railway police, Nampally, the deceased G Raaj Kumar who was a labourer, was crossing the railway without realizing that the train was on the track and got killed.
Railway police, Nampally has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Lady teacher ends life
Hyderabad, May 30 (Siasat News): A private school teacher committed suicide, as she was disgusted with the misbehaviour of her neighbours.
This incident occurred at Yousufguda, in the jurisdiction of Jubilee Hills police station. According to the police sources, the deceased Savitha had gone for watering to the public tap where she had heated arguments with her other neighbours who had come there to get water.
They misbehaved and abused her, which Savitha could not take in her stride. Mentally upset Savitha, after reaching her house, set herself ablaze.
She was immediately shifted to the hospital where she died during the treatment. Police Jubilee Hills has registered a case and further investigations are on.
