Notorious thief using burqa arrested
(Siasat News): Nampally police has arrested a notorious thief who had used burqa to hide his identity and committed the crime in the house of his employer. Om Prakash, 28, resident of Bhagat Singh Nagar, Yapral was an employee in a Gift Article Shop.
However, his intentions were always indecent. On April 26, reached the flat of his employer Srikant situated at Express Apartment, Lakdikapul.
Before this, he had bought a burqa, scarf and gloves from Secunderabad. After gaining entry, he stole 44 tolas gold ornaments and Rs. 30,000 in cash.
In the meantime, Dy. Commissioner Central Zone Mr. Kamlasan Reddy said that the accused was familiar with the flat of his employer and knew that what almirah is kept where. Not only this he had also obtained the possession of the keys of the flat.
However, the fate had something otherwise. When police watched the footage of the CCTV, they suspected that the burqa clad woman was actually Om Prakash by his body language as he used to walk unsteadily.
He was immediately arrested and later the accused admitted that he had committed the crime. Police also recovered the stolen ornaments and cash.
Man brutally murdered in Rajendranagar
(Siasat News): A man was brutally murdered in Rajendranagar but the deceased is yet to be identified. According to Rajendranagar police the deceased was around 35 years of age whose dead body was found near Attapur.
Police further said that the assailant had used cement bricks to kill him. A case has been registered and police is trying to trace the relatives of the deceased and a manhunt is also launched to nab the culprit.
Woman burnt to death
(Siasat News): A woman was accidentally burnt at Chilkalguda in Secunderabad.
Police sources said that the deceased Zeenat Fatima, 30, was the wife of one Sheikh Ghouse of Warsiguda.
On April 26, she was accidentally burnt and was admitted to hospital where she died during the treatment last night.
Fake Manpower Consultancy, one arrested
(Siasat News): The East Zone Team of Commissioner Task Force has arrested a man in connection with running a fake manpower consultancy in the name of Al-Burooj International Tours and Travels Agency at street No. 11 in Himayathnagar.
Police said that the accused Mohd. Nawaz Mohiuddin, resident of Toli Chowki used to dupe the overseas job aspirants claiming that they would get better opportunities abroad. He used to collect Rs. 25000 to 30000 from each aspirant.
However, when he failed to provide any job, the victims were angry and lodged a complaint with the police. He was arrested by Narayanguda police.
It was also appealed by the police for the general public not to become a prey of the fake and unregistered travel agencies.
