Domestic help arrested for theft
(Siasat News): Abids police has arrested a domestic help working in the house of an NRI doctor and recovered the stolen goods worth Rs.9 lakh.

Assistant Commissioner police Abids division Mr.Jaipal said in a press conference that Dr.Afsha Mohammed w/o Mohammed who is a gynecologist in a Riyadh hospital, had reached Hyderabad on June 25 along with her domestic help Fatima Bi.

Mr. Jaipal further said that Dr.Afsha had pitied the poverty of Fatima Bi and had taken her to Saudi Arabia with her where she was working as domestic help. Dr. Afsha reached Hyderabad on June 25 in connection with the education of her children.

She had kept her belongings in six big suitcases including gold ornaments and Saudi Riyals in cash. When she reached her apartment, she found the gold ornaments and cash missing from the suitcase.

She immediately lodged a complaint with Abids police and police arrested Fatima Bi on suspicion.

When she was grilled, she confessed that she had stolen 30 toals gold ornaments, Rs.10, 000 in Indian currency and Saudi Riyals. Further investigations are in progress.

Man fell in lift’s shaft, dies

(Siasat News): A man fell in the shaft of the lift in suspicious circumstances and died.

According to police sources, K Maruthi, 70, who were a labour, hailed from Bidar, Karnataka.

Yesterday, he was working in an under construction building at Afzalgunj but accidentally fell in the shaft of the building and got severely injured and died during the treatment.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Girl ends life in Tappachabutra

(Siasat News): A girl ended her life by hanging in Tappachabutra. The deceased B Sreesha, 19, was the daughter of one Raju of Hira Nagar.

Police Tappachabutra said that the motive behind the suicide is yet to be ascertained. The preliminary investigations revealed that she was upset with her own problems.

Further investigations are on.

Student hanged self

(Siasat News): A student ended his life by hanging in Kukatpally. The deceased 30-year-old Sairkrishna was the son of one Sri Ramulu of Jagadgirigutta.

He was an engineering student. Police sources said that Saikrishna was very upset over financial matters.

A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.
