Neighbour held for theft
(Siasat News): Chaderghat police has arrested a woman within 24 hours of the theft she had committed in the house situated in her neighbourhood and seized the s tola gold ornaments from her possession.

According to the details, one C H Ramadevi, 32, is the neighbour of one Praveen Kumar of Anand Nagar, Malakpet.

Praveen Kumar had gone out to attend some function at the residence of his relatives and taking advantage of his absence, Ramadevi had stolen 25 tolas gold ornaments from his house.

When he came back, he found the door of the house open and the jewellery from the cupboard missing. He immediately lodged the complaint with Chaderghat police.

However, the police, on simple theory of suspicion, took Ramadevi in custody and when she was grilled, she admitted her crime.

Police also recovered 24 tolas of gold from her possession.

Minor’s dead body found

(Siasat News): Police Ghatkesar has found the dead body of a minor girl near a temple. It is suspected that she might be killed after the rape.

The deceased is in the age group of 8 to 10 years. Police has started checking all the complaints of missing people lodged in Cyberabad limits and from districts to trace the whereabouts of the deceased.

Student injured in teacher’s punishment

(Siasat News): A student was severely injured when he was punished by his teacher. This incident occurred at Gateway Residential High School in Rajendranagar.

According to sub-inspector Mr. Tahir Hussain, 15-year-old student Kailash, resident of Ziaguda, was severely punished by a 25-year-old Biology teacher Mr. Narayana.

He further said that the student had asked some question to him, on which Narayana had lost his temperament and slapped the student. Not only this, but also beat him later.

Kailash went back to his house and informed about the incident to his parents who immediately lodged a complaint in Rajendranagar police station.

An FIR is also released in this connection. Narayana is said to be absconding.

Woman drowns

(Siasat News): A woman drowned in suspicious circumstances at Alwal. According to police sources, K Ellamma, 25, was the wife of one Kamariah of old Alwal.

She drowned in Janagadda talaab in suspicious circumstances. A case has been registered and police is investigating whether it was a case of suicide, murder or accidental death.
