Fraudulent gang unearthed

Hyderabad, May 29 (Siasat News): The task force team of central zone has unearthed a racket of deceivers who used to cheat job seekers.

Police have arrested Rishikesh Reddy, 28, Dinesh Reddy, 27, Ravikant, 30, and Naga Srinivas, 26.

According to the police sources, the racket was involved in making false promises to jobseekers and used to take money from them.

One such job seeker Chandrasekhar Raju had given them Rs. 1,90,000 to get a job in a multinational company.

The trap was set in such a way where some member of the racket used to call the job seekers and conducted their fake interviews on phone by posing as bank officials.

Woman raped and killed

Hyderabad, May 29 (Siasat News): A woman was raped and killed in the jurisdiction of Jeedimetla police station.

According to the police, the dead body of the unidentified 25-year-old woman was found from the bushed of the adjacent jungle near HMC ground.

The attackers smashed her head with boulders after raping her. Further investigations are on.

Extortionist constable arrested

Hyderabad, May 29 (Siasat News): A head constable was arrested red-handed when he was forcibly taking the money.

According to the sources, Srinivas, a resident of Shahpur Nagar, Jeedimetla, is associated with Sanathnagar police station as head constable. He is working as a writer.

Yesterday, late at night, he went to an apartment in S R Nagar and threatened a woman living in a flat to pay him Rs. 50,000 at once.

The woman immediately handed over Rs. 20,000 to him. But the constable was forcing her to pay the remaining Rs. 30,000 also and asked her to come with the money at S R Nagar chowrasta after an hour.

In the meantime, the woman informed the Task force about the incident and got him arrested red-handed while giving him Rs. 30,000.

It is also said that the task force gave him leniency as the head constable belonged to the police department.

When the media got the news of this leniency, it raised hue and cry compelling the task force to hand over the head constable to S R Nagar police.

Brothel raided

Hyderabd May 29 (Siasat News) S R Nagar police has raided a brothel and released a girl from Delhi who was forced in the flesh trade.

The organizer of the brothel also arrested. According to the details, Ravi Kumar had brought a girl from Delhi to Rajalaxmi apartment where she was forced in flesh trade.

When police got the vital clues, Inspector Krishnamurthy raided the apartment.

Police also recovered Rs. 10,000 and two cell phones from him.
