Student held
(Siasat News): Madhapur police arrested a 20-year-old B. Com student for creating a fake account of a TV artist on social networking site, facebook and sending obscene photos to other women.
According to police, the accused Gopinath from Khammam district, accepted friend’s request from women who thought the account was of the artist Sagar from ‘Mogali Rekulu’, Telugu serial.
The fraud came to light when the artist met another female artist who said she was abused by him on facebook chat. Sagar lodged a complaint with the police who took up probe.
Minor crushed to death
(Siasat News): A 12-year-old girl was crushed to death under wheels of a speeding truck at Aramgarh Crossroads in Rajendranagar police limits when she was riding along with her parents, was hit by a speeding truck.
The deceased identified as G Mahershwari and has been studying in class IX. Her mother sustained serious injuries.
Friend stabbed to death
(Siasat News): Ibrahimpatnam police has arrested a 30-year-old man for killing his friend in an inebriated condition.
The accused Mahaveer and the deceased Krishna Naik had consumed liquor on Sunday night. Later they had an argument.
In a fit of rage, Mahaveer stabbed Krishna with a knife. Further investigations are on.
