Two arrested for stealing motorbikes
(Siasat News): Rajendranagar police in two separate operations arrested two persons involved in stealing motorbikes. The culprits are a mistry and a student.
They used to steal motorbikes from a parking lot situated in Hyderguda. Police in a search operation arrested one Srikant, 30, said to be a student who was roaming in the area in suspicious manner near Himayathsagar.
In its second operation, the police arrested one Dhanraj, 36, a mistry by profession from near pillar No. 274 who was a resident of Attapur and hails from Bidar in Karnataka and seized the motorbikes from his possession.
Engineering student ends life
(Siasat News): An engineering student in Pet Basheerabad ended her life in suspicious circumstances. Police sources said that the deceased Vasundhara, 19 was a B.Tech student and hails from Karimnagar.
She was studying in a private college and has been staying a hostel. Last night, she hanged herself to death. Police is yet to ascertain the motive behind the suicide.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Minor electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A minor boy electrocuted to death in Begum Bazaar. According to Shahinayathgunj police, the deceased Virendra, 8, was a student and the resident of Feelkhana.
On January 21, he allegedly reached very close to a transformer near his house and had come into the contact of live wire. He had sustained severe injuries and was admitted to a hospital where he died last night during the treatment.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.
New bride commits suicide
(Siasat News): A 10-month-old bride who was being harassed by her husband, committed suicide in Medpally. Police sources said that the deceased Deepa Rani, 22, was the wife of one Naveen Reddy of Peerzadiguda.
The duo got married in March, 2014. However, after a few months, Naveen started harassing her and demanding more dowry. When the harassment and torture became unbearable for Deepa, she hanged herself to death.
Police Medpally has registered a case and further investigations are on.
