Two arrested at Airport

(Siasat News): The DRI officials at RGI airport arrested two passengers and recovered foreign currency valued at Rs. 96,00,000.

As per the details, the flight that reached Hyderabad from Dubai where during the custom checking, two passengers were found in the possession of burqas.

When those burqas were further checked, it was found that US dollars, UAE dirhams, Bahraini dinar and Saudi riyals were wrapped in them valued at Rs. 96,34, 627.

The arrested passengers were produced in a special court at Nampally.

Queer reason for suicide

(Siasat News): A girl who thought that she was taking a bold step to finalize her marriage alliance by going to the house of her would-be husband without realizing that her boldness would boomerang.

This incident occurred in Malkajgiri police limits where Veena Richardson, 23, a software engineer and the daughter of one John Richardson took the extreme step.

Veena was in love with a boy and the duo wanted to get married. In a ‘film-like situation’ Veena herself had gone to the house of her lover to meet his parents in order to finalize her marriage.

However, the parents of the boy did not carry away by her boldness and instead reprimanded her. After that Veena was under mental pressure and committed suicide.

Police is further investigating.

Husband kills wife

(Siasat News): A wife who was aware of her husband’s many extra marital affairs but wanted to keep him away from the women became the cause of her death as she was brutally killed by her husband.

This incident occurred in Saeedabad police limits where Kalpana, 32, was killed by her husband Venkatesh. The duo was the resident of Rajsekhar Reddy Nagar Colony in Saeedabad with their children.

According to reliable sources, Venkatesh had illicit relations with many women and Kalpana was against it. This topic used to become the cause of argument between husband and wife.

Yesterday, the same thing happened when Venkatesh, under the influence of alcohol, attacked her wife with a hammer that instantly killed Kalpana.

Saeedabad police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Man electrocuted to death

(Siasat News): A man electrocuted to death at Chandanagar in Cyberabad. Police said that the deceased Murli, 38, employee of HAL, was busy in some electrical work in his house yesterday.

During the work, he accidentally came into contact with some live wire and was severely burnt. He was taken to the hospital where he died last night during the treatment.

Chandanagar police is further investigating.
