Illegal sale of liquor, two held
(Siasat News): On the day of Holi, the dray day is observed and all wine shops remained closed. However, some profit makers do not hesitate to earn few bucks even on dry days and violate the excise law.

The east zone team of commissioner task force has arrested two persons in this connection who were openly selling the liquor illegally.

J Jagram of Singareni colony, Syeedabad and C Srinivas, resident of Patel Nagar in Amberpet, were supplying the stuff to the ‘daily customers’ simply violating the dry day ruling of excise department.

The task force team recovered liquor bottles and Rs.1300 cash from their possession and were handed over to Sayeedabad and Amberpet police.

Use of acid caused death

(Siasat News): A man who used acid when he was under the influence of alcohol. This incident occurred in Saroornagar police station limits where G Balaraju, 35, resident of Kameshwar Rao Nagar colony, had consumed liquor on March 21.

He was over dosed and during the state of intoxication, he used acid by mistake. He was immediately shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment. Police has registered a case.

Woman jumps in Hussein Sagar, dies

(Siasat News): A woman who had a row with her husband and other domestic disputes led her to commit suicide by jumping in Hussein Sagar.

Police Ramgopalpet has fished out the dead body. According to the police, the deceased R Bhagyalaxmi, 37, was the wife of one Venkata Reddy of Alwal.

She had disputes with her husband for quite some time. Yesterday, she took the extreme step of ending her life.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Two accidentally burnt to death

(Siasat News): Two persons including a woman accidentally died in two different incidents occurred Kanchan Baug and Kulsumpura police station limits.

According to Kanchan Baug police, Amjad Hussein, 42, an auto driver and the resident of Hafizbaba Nagar, was severely burnt in an accidental fire in his house and died during the treatment in hospital.

Kulsumpura police said that Venkatamma, 45, resident of Ziaguda sustained burn injuries during the cooking.

She was the second wife of her husband and was the native of Pargi, succumbed to her burn injuries.
