Hooch trader arrested
(Siasat News): The North Zone team of Commissioner Task force gas arrested a man at Ranigunj who was involved in illegal hooch trade and seized hooch packets from his possession.
It is said that the accused Pentla Venkat was the resident of Bansilalpet and has been working as a labourer. However, he wanted to earn easy bucks and started selling hooch packets in Secunderabad area.
When Task force came to know about his illegal trader, his house was raided and seized 280 hooch packets, mobile phone and other items. Later, he was handed over to Mahankali police.
Two die in train accidents
(Siasat News): Two persons died in two separate train accidents occurred in Secunderabad railway police limits. According to railway police one sheikh Ahmad Ali, 20, resident of Maula Ali railway quarters, was hit by a train when he was crossing the tracks between Lalaguda and Muala Ali railway stations.
In the second incident, 30-year-old T Balreddy died as he was trying to cross the railway tracks from platform No. 2 to platform No. 3. Railway police said that Balreddy was busy talking on his cellphone while crossing the tracks without realizing that a train is a very close to him.
Railway police has registered the cases and further investigations are on.
Minor’s marriage attempt foiled
(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a 13-year-old girl was being married by her parents at Padatera village in Shamshabad when police was informed about this and it came into action.
Rural inspector Uma Maheshwar Rao and sub-inspector Bhaskar immediately reached the spot and stopped the marriage rituals. As per the details, one Shankariah was getting his daughter married to one Jangiah’s son.
Both the families are beggars. Shamshabad police persuaded them that getting a girl’s married before the attainment of 18 years, is illegal.
If they would proceed, they would be entitled to get punished as per the law. Police also requested the general public if they found such cases of illegal marriages, kindly inform the police of the jurisdiction.
Case of attempted murder in Banjara Hills
(Siasat News): A man was attacked last night at Indiranagar in Banjara Hills severely injuring one Sanju, 34 whose condition is reportedly critical.
He was associated with film industry where he used to paint panels and boards. Tonight, Sanju was busy boozing with his friends where during an argument; he was attacked by his friends.
He is severely injured and under treatment at Road No. 1, Banjara Hills. The motive behind the attack and the identification of the attackers are yet to be ascertained.
Banjara Hills police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.
