Vehicle-lifter arrested

Hyderabad, April 28 (Siasat News): The city police arrested a vehicle-lifter at Tallagadda bus stand and recovered six motorcycles worth Rs. 3 lakh, from his possession.

According to the police, the accused Syed Naushad, 19, is a resident of Kishanbaug of Bahadurpura.

During interrogation, Naushad confessed that he was inspired by his brother Shahzaad, who is a house burglar, to earn easy money. Naushad was helped by his friend Mukhtar. The accused was handed over to Tappachabutra police.

Answer booklet leak: 6 arrested

Hyderabad, April 28 (Siasat News): Six more contract employees of JNTU, Kukatpally, were arrested for leaking answer booklets.

The accused were Kashi Ravi Kumar, A Raju, N Ramu, D Srikanth, Sidhu and Mallesham. They were responsible for binding the B Tech III year exam papers (answer booklets), which reached the office of the JNTU.

Additional Controller of Examination-III at Kukatpally from engineering colleges affiliated to JNTU. “The accused used to charge Rs. 4000 to Rs. 6000 for each answer booklet,” said the police.
