Student ends life at OU
(Siasat News): An Osmania University student committed suicide at university quarters. According OU police, the deceased Ambedkar, 22, was the son of one Prasad Rao who has been living at OU quarter.

Last night, the deceased hanged himself to death. Police is yet to ascertain the motive behind his suicide.

Further investigations are on.

Woman looted at Bashirbagh

(Siasat News): A woman was relieved of her gold ornaments late last night at Bashirbagh. As per the details, the woman Swapna, resident of Malakpet, had come to a temple situated at Bashirbagh for pooja.

After finishing the pooja, she was about to enter her car, just then a man came there and snatched her gold ornaments for her neck and fled the scene.

Following a complaint by Swapna, Abids police has registered a case where she said that 23 tolas ornaments were snatched by the robber. Further investigations are on.

Adulterated milk, gowli arrested

(Siasat News): The north zone team of commissioner task force along with GHMC food safety officials in their joint operation arrested a gowli as he was involved in making adulterated milk and seized huge quantity of adulterated milk.

Task force officials said that the accused C H Damodar Yadav owned a shop at Regimental Bazar in Secunderabad where he used to mix Hydrogen peroxide and other lethal chemical in the milk.

He used to prepare 10 litre milk with the help of 9 litre water, just 1 litre real milk and the chemicals and selling the same in the market for Rs. 45 per litre.

Task force officials seized chemicals and other items from his possession and produced him in the court.
