Birth of baby girl irked husband, beaten wife to death
(Siasat News): A woman had to pay the price of giving birth to a female child with her life. Her tyrant husband was very angry over the birth of female child as he was expecting the male child.
He brutally assaulted his wife and she has to be admitted in the hospital where she died during the treatment. This incident occurred in Golconda police station limits where the deceased Sadia, 24, succumbed to her injuries.
As per the details, she was the wife of one Mohd. Hasham, resident of second lancer. They got married in October 2012. Hasham is said to be a trader. He was given Rs. 60,000 in cash, 3 toals gold and a motorbike at the time of the marriage.
However, after the marriage, Sadia was subjected to constant harassment by her in-laws and when she got pregnant, the magnitude of harassment further increased. They were expecting her to deliver a male child. Sadia gave birth to a female child on August 28 and went to her parent’s house after two months.
The tyrant husband followed her to his in-laws place and beat his wife with a stick. Her health further deteriorated and ultimately she died during the treatment last night. Hasham was arrested and sent to jail.
