Killer husband arrested
Hyderabad, September 27 (Siasat News): A man had killed his wife by setting her ablaze in Shamshabad’s village Padaneera.
According to the rural police of Shamshabad, Lavanya, 28, was the native of Nagireddypally and was married to one M, Sekhar of Padaneera, some ten years back. Both husband and wife have a five-year-old daughter.
However, Sekhar was suspicious about the fidelity of his wife and used to beat her. Then too his wife did not walk out of the house and continued to live with him.
On September 8, Sekhar came back from his work and poured kerosene on his wife and set her ablaze. She was immediately rushed to the OGH but died on September 22 during the treatment.
Shamshabad rural police arrested Sekhar and sent him on remand.
Search for iron rods proved fatal
Hyderabad, September 27 (Siasat News): A man who dived in a pond in order to find the iron rods used for the making of Ganesh idols.
As the material used for making them, melt after the immersion, especially the iron rods have a good resale value. This incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Saroornagar police station.
Police has fished out the dead body today and the identification is yet to be ascertained.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Dead body of a girl fished out
Hyderabad, September 27 (Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has fished out the dead body of a 13-year-old girl who is identified as Sunitha.
Police suspect that Sunitha might have fallen in the pond accidentally. She was the student of class VIII and resident of Gandhinagar colony.
Police Ranjendranagar has shifted the body to the hospital and registered a case. Further investigations are on.
