Woman brutally murdered
(Siasat News): A woman was brutally murdered by some unidentified persons in Alwal. As per the details, K Mungi, 28, was the wife of one K Ravi, resident of Bolarum and both were living in the slum area.
Last night, some unidentified persons entered their slum and killed Mungi with boulders. Though police has registered a case but the preliminary investigations also took her husband in the list of suspicious people, as he might be person behind her killing.
Police is trying to ascertain the motive behind this brutal murder. Further investigations are in progress.
Notorious thief arrested
(Siasat News): Abids police have arrested a notorious thief who used to target the people who come to visit their ailing dear and near ones in hospitals.
He used to steal their handbags and other items. As per the details, the thief Mohd. Ismail, 26, resident of Bilal Nagar in Kalepatthar, had stolen the handbag of a woman visitor to Care Hospital P Kavitha in February this year.
There were four mobile phones, two gold rings and cash in hand bag. Ismail targeted Kavitha when she was fast asleep in the concourse of the hospital.
Police had arrested him on suspicion but he admitted the theft. Abids police further said that earlier, Ismail was also caught by Moghalpura and Kamathipura police for involving in various thefts.
Constables arrested for accepting ‘mamool’
(Siasat News): Saroornagar police has arrested a task force constable for extortion of money as ‘mamool’ from brothels.
Inspector Saroornagar AVR Narsimha Rao said that the constable Vasu along with his colleague constable Ashok and another constable Parmesh from Dabeerpura police station reached the brothel being run in Kamala Nagar and demanded ‘mamool.’
When Saroornagar police came to know about this, a raid was conducted at the brothel where Vasu and Parmesh were arrested but constable Ashok absconded.
Both the arrested constables will be produced in the court.
Woman ends life
(Siasat News): A woman took the extreme step of ending her life by hanging with a tree in Fateh Nagar.
According to railway police sources, the deceased who is yet to be identified, hanged herself with a tree between Fateh Nagar and Nature Cure Hospital railway stations on MMTS local train route.
Police is trying to ascertain the motive behind this suicide and further investigations are on.
Man jailed for attempting to kill his children
(Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has sent a man to jail for attempting to throw his children into Himayath Sagar and fighting with his wife.
Sub-inspector Mr.Tahir Hussain said that following the complaint of Saritha, 30, resident of Budvel, police has sent her husband Gola Anjiah to jail.
He was a driver and used to harass his wife and even tried to throw their children into Himayath Sagar.
He had also attacked his father-in-law where he was severely injured.
