Moneylender booked

Hyderabad, May 27 (Siasat News): Cracking down on illegal financiers in the old city, police arrested a moneylender and seized several documents from him.

According to the details, Kamatipura police raided the premises of M Nageshwar Rao of Doodh Bowli for doing money-lending business without a licence.

Eleven registers, 18 promisory notes, 44 chit books, driving licence of borrower Raziuddin, three blanked, signed non-judicial stamp papers on the names of borrowers and 80 revenue stamps were seized.

Window shelf collapses, one dies

Hyderabad, May 27 (Siasat News): One person died and three other including two children were injured when the window shelf of the second floor of a school building collapsed and fell on three asbestos roofed houses at Nacharam.

Santosh, 25 died and Bheem Rao, 40, Sunanda, 4 and Sampath, 2 suffered fractures.

Steel dacoity gang nabbed

Hyderabad, May 27 (Siasat News): A five-member-gang that stole over 20 tons of steel from a cargo carrier in highway dacoity in Sangareddy on May 16, was arrested by the Bidar police.

According to the Central zone DCP, Mr. Akun Sabarwal, the Abids police tipped off their Bidar counterparts about the location of five persons who were involved in the dacoity.

The police have recovered steel worth Rs. 20 lakh from the gang post arrest.
