In-laws harassment led to suicide
(Siasat News): In a bizarre case, a 58-year-old woman at Lalaguda in Secunderabad committed suicide as she was constantly harassed by her husband and in-laws.

Police sources said that Gayathri consumed pesticide last night and succumbed this morning during the treatment. It is alleged that she was the subject of torture and harassment by her husband and in-laws which had become unbearable for her.

Lalaguda police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Another theft in temple

(Siasat News): The series of theft in various temples is still on where the thieves, this time targeted a temple situated in Jumerat Bazar.

It is said that there is a Balaji temple in Shahinayathgunj police limits where an unknown thief entered the temple in the disguise of a devotee. While garlanding the idol, he stole the crown.

When this happened, the priest of the temple was not there. When he reached the temple, the theft came into light and a complaint was lodged with the police.

It is to be recalled here that last week, a theft took place in Durga temple in Saeedabad where the thief had entered in the disguise of a devotee. Police has registered the case and a manhunt is lanuched to nab the culprits.

Man arrested for selling antique idol

(Siasat News): Task Force police has arrested a man who was trying to sell the antique idol. It is said that one Muqaddas Hussain, 24, native of Alipur, UP had come to the city in search of a job.

He befriended with a man Gyan Singh from MP. However, to eliminate their financial problems, the duo obtained an antique idol of Lord Mahaveera that is called Panchloha.

Though the idol was not antique as claimed by the duo, they were trying to sell it in Rs. 50,00,000. Muqaddas was arrested from near PVNR Expressway, Langar Houz as he was expecting a customer there.

Police recovered the panchloha idol from his possession.
