Old man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): An old man died when he was hit by a train during track crossing between Umda Nagar and Timmpaur railway stations.
According to railway police Kachiguda, the deceased B Balreddy, 80, native of Mahboobnagar, trying to cross the railway tracks when he was hit by an oncoming fast train.
He died on the spot. Railway police is further investigating.
Parent’s pressure led to suicide
(Siasat News): A girl student desirous to get higher education took the extreme step of ending her life by her parent’s pressure.
This incident occurred in Chatrinaka where Anitha, 17, hanged herself to death. She was studying in class X. Her parents are labour and were not in a position to afford her higher education after X whereas she wanted to study further.
Her parents had asked her to join them in their labour work and pressurising her to quit the education.
Chatrinkaka police is further investigating.
Youth drowns in pond
(Siasat News): A youth who had gone for darshan in a temple, died by drowning in Kesra talaab.
According to Kesra police, the deceased Jairam, 16, was the son of one Ramakrishna of Mettuguda. He was the student of Inter I year.
He had gone to Kesra temple along with his friends and was swimming in pond nearby. However, he had underestimated the depth of the pond and drowned during the swimming.
Police Kesra is further investigating.
Financial crunch caused the suicide
(Siasat News): An ornament maker in Hussaini Alam took the extreme step of ending his life as he was in a financial crisis.
He wanted to get her sister married but his financial condition was not sound. Hussaini Alam police sources said that the deceased Manoj Mahesh, 24, was a goldsmith.
He had consumed pesticide on February 24 to end his life. Though he was hospitialised but succumbed during the treatment last night.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
