Attempt to obtain visa on fake certificate led to arrest
Hyderabad, July 02 (Siasat News): The north zone team of commissioner’s task force arrested a youth who tried to obtain US visa by producing fake certificate.
Police also recovered fake certificate from his possession. According to the details, Md. Ibrahim Khaleeluddin, 34, resident of Aman Nagar A had completed his SSC and after that he learnt the computer hardware in a crash course, was serving at Standard Trading company at Tilak Road, Abids.
He had gone to Saudi Arabia in 2008. Police said that Ibrahim had bought a degree of B.Com, Kakatiya University with the help of his friend Mansoor. This degree was originally belonged to one Prabhakar Reddy. Ibrahim paid Rs. 10,000 for the same.
In order to obtain a US visa, Ibrahim produced this fake degree in the consulate but he was not successful as consulate authorities immediately realized that the degree was fake. Ibrahim is handed over to Begumpet police station for further grilling.
Rs. 55 lacs looted in broad daylight
Hyderabad, July 02 (Siasat News): Rs. 55 lacs were looted from Chikkadpally, the robbers committed the crime near an ATM centre.
The unidentified robbers played a trick and easily trapped a private employee and made their escape good with the bag containing the big amount. The irony of it is that the robbers, after covering some distance, left behind the empty bag on the road. According to the sources, CMS security, which does the duty of filling the ATM machines with cash at the centers of different banks.
Today, when the reached to the spot, two persons from the security company went inside to fill the cash. While doing so, another bag was kept in the van. In the meantime, two persons who were allegedly chasing the van reached there and smartly took away another bag containing the cash. While this theft was done, the other employees were totally unaware that what had happened.
It was a passerby who informed the negligent employees that a bag was stolen from the van. When they checked, they found the bag containing Rs. 55 lacs was stolen.
A complaint was immediately lodged with the police and further investigations are on.
Six-member gang arrested
Hyderabad, July 02 (Siasat News): A six-member gang who used to operate in Cherlappally area stealing costly materials. Police also seized material worth Rs. 45 lacs.
Police Kushaiguda has handed over the gang to judicial custody. In the meantime, police inspector Rajsekhar said that Santosh Thakur, Madhu, Mani Kumar and Ahmed are handed over to judicial custody who had committed theft in an under construction company and from there stolen costly items.
The mastermind Santosh, after having faced heavy loss in his business, formed this gang by recruiting six other persons from Jangaon. The industrial areas of Cherlapally was their target.
They chose one company where only one security guard was there. They pounced him, beat him and later tied him with a rope. They stole the costly material from the company. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
