Women thieves arrested
(Siasat News): Bolarum police has nabbed a two-member women thieves gang who was involved in stealing the luggage of the woman bus passenger and recovered the stolen gold ornaments.
As per the details, the luggage bag of a woman passenger Sooraji Laxmi was stolen by two women thieves Saroja and Durga. After the theft, the thieves sold the stolen material.
Bolarum police has arrested them on suspicion and when they were grilled, it was disclosed that both were involved in the theft of the luggage.
Police has recovered the stolen ornaments and handed them over to judicial custody.
Case registered against fraudulent travel agent
(Siasat News): Vanasthalipuram police has registered a case against a travel agent who had duped many persons by making false promises of gulf job.
The agent Syed Yousuf had duped many persons belonged to the old city saying that he would provide jobs in Dubai and Kuwait.
Yousuf, with Rs. 40,000 from each customer and also took their original passports, disappeared.
The victims of the fraud lodged a complaint with Vanasthalipuram police to trace the culprit. Further investigations are on.
Acute illness led to suicide
(Siasat News): A patient who was admitted to city’s popular hospital Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), however, jumped from the 5th floor of the building and died instantly.
According to the details, Mohd. Shareef, 28, resident of Yousufguda, Rahmathnagar, was undergoing treatment in Arogyshri ward for kidneys.
He was so upset over his illness that he could not bear the pain and when he got the chance, he committed suicide by jumping from the 5th floor of the building.
Panjagutta police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
