Gold ornaments worth Rs. 14 lakh stolen
(Siasat News): The burglars broke open a house in Kushaiguda and made their escape good with gold ornaments worth Rs. 14 lakh.
In the meantime, Inspector Kushaiguda Mr. K Venkat Reddy said that real estate businessman M Madhusudan Rao lives in a rented house at OUT colony in Kapra.
However, he had gone to attend the funeral of his friend’s mother on Friday night. Taking advantage of the locked house, the burglars broke open the lock and gained the entry.
They escaped with 37 tolas gold jewelleries, 2 kilo silver and Rs. 25000 in cash. When he reached his house this morning, he found the lock of the house broken.
He immediately informed the police that reached there with forensic experts. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Minor hit by car
(Siasat News): A 9-year-old boy was hit by a speeding car at road No. 14, Banjara Hills. The car bearing number plate as AP31CG-3999 was recklessly driven and hit one Durga Prasad, resident of road No.2.
Prasad was seriously injured and was admitted to Care Hospital. The father of the boy Chander Kumar lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police.
Police is searching the negligent driver.
Burnt girl succumbed to injuries
(Siasat News): A girl, who was accidentally burnt during the cooking in her kitchen, succumbed to her injuries.
It is said that the deceased Seema Parveen, 21, resident of Madannapet, was severely injured on January 16 when she was cooking food in her kitchen.
She was immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital where she was under treatment.
Last night, her condition deteriorated and later she died.
