Liquor vendor attacks constable
Hyderabad, July 26 (Siasat News): In a bizarre incident, a liquor vendor attacked a police constable and injured him. This incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Meerpet police station.
As per the details, the wine shop was kept opened even when it was the time for the closure of the shop. The constable Mallesh reached the shop and asked the owner to give explanation for keeping the shop opened late in the night.
The owner of the shop argued with the constable and later attacked him. As soon as Mallesh informed his superiors about the incident, Goud, closed the shop and left the scene.
Mallesh has been admitted in the hospital and the crackdown for Goud is started.
It is to be noted here that due to Bonalu procession, all wine shops of the city and outskirts were asked the down the shutters. Then too, many of the people who attended the procession, found under the influence of alcohol.
This clearly shows that people and the shop owners as well, have no fear or respect for the law.
Thief arrested in Asifnagar
Hyderabad, July 26 (Siasat News): Asifnagar police, in its crackdown campaign, arrested a thief and recovered two stolen motorbike and three cellphones.
As per the details, police in its crackdown campaign in Mehdipatnam area, spotted one Durga Reddy who was moving in a suspicious manner and arrested him.
He failed to show the valid documents of the bikes. When he was grilled by inspector Asifnagar Md. Javed, Reddy confessed that he had stolen a bike from near Sarvi hotel and another was stolen from Muradnagar.
As far as cellphones were concerned, he stole them during the bus journey.
He was an electrician by profession and in the past, was jailed under the Langar Houz police.
Handicap labour ends life
Hyderabad, July 26 (Siasat News): A handicap labour committed suicide in the jurisdiction of Banjara Hills police station.
According to police sources, C Pradeep Kumar, 21, was the resident of Devarkunda Basthi, took the extreme step on July 21. He poured kerosene on his body and set himself ablaze. He was admitted in the hospital where he died during the treatment.
Pradeep was handicap by one hand and was not in a position to do any work comfortably. This has saddened him.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
