Burglary in jewellery shop
(Siasat News): A jewellery shop burgled at city’s busiest place Nampally where burglars gained entry from the roof by making a big hole and stole gold ornaments.

According to Nampally police, the burglars strike at Govardhan Jewellery and Mortgage Centre near dargah Yousufain and made their escape good with 70 tolas gold ornaments and 15 tolas silver ornaments.

Police further said that the owner of the shop had kept the ornaments in a locked counter. Following a complaint, the clue team and dog squad of the Hyderabad police reached the spot whereas the forensic experts collected the fingerprints from the place of the heist.

A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.

Wife ends life over harassment

(Siasat News): A woman who was harassed by her husband, took the extreme step of ending her life.

Raidurgam police said that Ganga, 26, resident of Manikonda, took the extreme step by hanging to the ceiling fan at her in-laws house.

A case has been registered and the dead body is shifted to Osmania Hospital.

Tractor crushes minor

(Siasat News): A minor girl who was severely injured as she was hit by a tractor, ultimately died.

According to Bahadurpura police, the deceased Triveni, 5, was the daughter of labour parents.

Two days ago, her parents were busy in some cleaning work near Zoo Park and they had kept her on the footpath as she was sleeping.

In the meantime, a tractor reached there and trying to take a reverse turn, the driver crushed the minor, as she was not visible from the steering. Triveni was immediately shifted to Osmania Hospital where she died during the treatment.

A case of negligence driving in lodged and further investigations are in progress.

Man brutally murdered

(Siasat News): An unidentified man was brutally murdered at Almas Guda in Meerpet.

Sub-inspector Meerpet police station Mr. Sridhar Reddy said that youth between the ages of 20 to 25 years whose identification is yet to be made, was brutally murdered and his dead body was thrown on the road.

In its preliminary investigations, police found a name as Rajani tattooed on his hand and injury marks of a sharp weapon. The dead body is shifted to Osmania Hospital mortuary.

Injured youth dies

(Siasat News): A private employee who was seriously injured in a road accident, died.

According to L B Nagar police, Sheikh Samiuddin, 23, resident of Krishna Nagar, was passing from Global Hospital Kaman on June 11 when he was hit by speeding vehicle.

He was severely injured and immediately shifted to Osmania Hospital where his treatment was going on since last 14 days.

However, he succumbed to his injuries last night, as doctor could not save him.
