Women robbed off gold chains

(Siasat News): Chain snatchers struck twice and fled with 8 tolas of gold on Sunday. In the first incident, an elderly woman was relieved of her 6 tolas gold chain at R K Nagar.

A 40-year-old woman was robbed off her 2 tolas gold chain at Alwal.

In both the cases, the culprits managed to escape from the scene. Investigations are on.

Dead body found from sump

(Siasat News): A 50-year-old woman was found dead in a water sump at her home in Chaitanyapuri under suspicious circumstances.

She was identified as G Balamani, a sweeper at Golnaka in circle IX of GHMC. Police suspects she lost her balance and fell into the sump while fetching water on Saturday evening.

Her daughter-in-law Kavya, who noticed Balamani’s legs protruding from the sump, raised an alarm and she pulled out by locals.

She was dead by then. Following the complaint of Balamani’s eldest daughter, police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Field officer brutally murdered

(Siasat News): A field officer of a private security company was brutally murdered by his associates.

This incident occurred in Marredpally police station limits. The deceased Rahual Nath, 26, was the native of Assam. According to police, Rahul’s dead body was found from his rented house situated in west Marredpally.

Police also said that Rahul was tied with a rope by his associates Sahil, Pawan and others and later he was attacked with a dumbbell killing him instantly.

The team of the Marredpally police reached the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital. The clues team and the dog squad were also called to the spot.

Police suspect that the money transaction might be the motive behind the killing. Further investigations are on.
