Abductors of a minor arrested
Hyderabad, June 02 (Siasat News): A minor girl was abducted from Kauvaguda in Shamshabad on May 29.
According to the Shamshabad rural inspector Ravichandra, an auto driver Srisailam, 21, resident of Kauvaguda, with the help of his associates Ramesh, Ranjeet, Babu and Srikant, brought the girl from Kauvaguda to Shamshabad by auto rickshaw.
From there, he took the girl to Bhadrachalam by car and married her.
However, the girl once again brought to Shamshabad on May 30 and the she went to her house as if nothing was happened.
Later, her inquisitive and worried parents forced her to disclose the cause of her absence from the house, the girl narrated the entire episode.
Her parents lodged a complaint and inspector Ravichandra arrested all five and sent them to remand.
Four arrested with turtles
Hyderabad, June 02 (Siasat News): Police have arrested four persons who were trying to sell the turtles in the neighbouring states of Orissa and Karnataka.
Police also seized 600 turtles from their possession and handed over to the forest department.
Wife attacker arrested
Hyderabad, June 02 (Siasat News): The Meerpet police on Tuesday registered a case of attempted murder against a 35-year-old man who had injured his wife with a knife under the influence of alcohol at Meerpet here on Tuesday.
The accused T Gopi is a businessman. According to the Meerpet police, on Monday, Gopi picked up a quarrel with his wife T Renuka over a petty issue.
When she reported, Gopi attacked her with a kitchen knife injuring her right cheek and left hand.

Food inspector caught red-handed
Hyderabad, June 02 (Siasat News): Principal special judge, in his verdict, sentenced one A V Mahinder Naidu, food inspector, GHMC, Khairtabad circle, for six months imprisonment. A fine of Rs. 1000 also imposed on him.
Non-payment of the fine amount would turn into one more month in prison.
Earlier, the food inspector was held red-handed by ACB officials when he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000 from the owner of a sweetmeat shop.
