Man injured by zoo train

Hyderabad, December 26 (Siasat News): In a bizarre incident a 60-year-old man who had come to the zoo park along with his family members, got injured when he was hit by the zoo train, meant for children for joy ride.

The injured man identified as Venkat Swamy, native of Karimnagar and ex-employee of RTC. He was immediately shifted to the hospital.

In the meantime, Hari Shyam Prasad, son of Venkat Swamy, lodged a complaint with Bahadupura police station alleging the mini train driver of negligence. Police is further investigating.

Man kills alcoholic wife

Hyderabad, December 26 (Siasat News): A man, who was fed up of his alcoholic wife, killed her last night.

This incident occurred in Banjara Hills police station limits. As per the details, the deceased P. Savithri, got married to one Prasad in 1998. She was a habitual drunkard.

Two/three days back, she had gone out of the house with out the permission of her husband and returned only the next morning.

This infuriated Prasad and he asked her about this. They developed heated argument and Prasad hit her head with a stick killing her on the spot.

Banjara Hills police has arrested Prasad.

Brothel raided

Hyderabad, December 26 (Siasat News): Task Force police has raided a brothel being run in the posh locality of Begumpet and arrested a pimp and got freed two girls from his clutches.

As per the details, Vara Prasad, native of east Godavari, was running a brothel in an apartment.

He used to bring sex workers from other states on contract basis and charging thousands of rupees from the customers.

When commissioner task force got the knowledge of this sex racket, a raid was conducted and this is how Vara Prasad was arrested.
