Sensational robbery at Banjara Hills
(Siasat News): In film-like situation, two motorcycle borne robbers snatched Rs. 5.5. lakh from the cashier of a film company at the posh Banjara Hills area and fled.
As per the details, the cashier Sekhar has been working with Sagar Society Film Company. He had withdrawn a sum of Rs. 5.5. Lakh from Axis Bank situated at Film Nagar in Jubilee Hills. After drawing the money, he was going to his office on his bike.
In the meantime when he was about to reach his office, two unknown persons on a bike, suddenly attacked him from behind the snatched the bag containing the cash.
This incident sent shock waves in the area and police was immediately informed. Assistant commissioner of police, Banjara Hills Mr. E Shankar Reddy said that the robbers had used a motorbike that bore no number plate and moreover, both of them had worn helmets.
Following the complaint of Sekhar, Banjara Hills police is further investigating.
Mother’s reprimand led to suicide
(Siasat News): A son who was very upset over the reprimand by her mother over a petty matter, committed suicide.
This incident occurred in Ghatkesar police station limits where one Shahnawaz, 30, was reprimanded by his mother for not only constantly watching the TV but also keeping it open during his other works.
Shahnawaz was said to be a sensitive boy and he could not tolerate the reprimand and poured kerosene on his body and set himself ablaze.
Though he was admitted in a hospital where he died during the treatment. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man lost his life when he was hit by a train between Chandanagar and Hafeezpet railway stations. The brutality of the accident can be gauged by the fact that the dead body was turned beyond recognition.
According to railway police Nampally; the deceased was around 50 years of age. It is suspected that he might have hit by an on coming train when he was crossing the railway tracks.
Railway police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
Suspicious death of a man
(Siasat News): A man died near Secunderabad railway station in suspicious circumstances. According to Gopalpuram police, the deceased Soumaya, 28, was a driver and has been living in Jeedimetla.
However, when he was driving his car and passing near Secunderabad railway station, he suddenly developed chest pain and died.
Police has registered a case of suspicious death and further investigations are on.
Another dowry death
(Siasat News): A woman who was constantly harassed by her in-laws for dowry, ended her life in Shamirpet.
Police sources said that the deceased Laxmi, 24, was the wife of one Srinivas. They got married a few months back. Her parents had given Rs. 2 lakh in cash and other household items at the time of the marriage.
However, it seems not enough for her in-laws as she was subjected to constant harassment for more dowry for quite some time.
When Laxmi could not tolerate harassment any further, she took the extreme step of ending her life. Police is further investigating.
