Alcohol seized, youth arrested
(Siasat News): The Shahalibanda police seized around 200 packets of alcohol from a man at Shahalibanda chowrasta after his vehicle toppled at the junction spilling the packets on the road.

According to police 19-year-old Rajan’s bike was hit by a vehicle when he stopped at the signal near Shahalibanda chowrastha and the alcohol packets fell out.

Further investigations are on.

Probe into CID affairs

(Siasat News): a probe has been ordered into the affairs of CID by police headquarters.

Sources said the inquiry was ordered into the recent transfers of inspectors and constables and also into complaints regarding the gangster Bhanu Kiran case.

Additional director General Anuradha has been appointed as the inquiry officer.

Baby fell down from balcony, dies

(Siasat News): A one-year-old boy succumbed a few hours after he fell from the second floor of a residential building at Gautamnagar in Malkajgiri.

The victim Master Janardhan, son of Mr. Seshadri, slipped and fell from the balcony while his mother was feeding him.

He was rushed to the hospital but died during the treatment.
