Guard injured in robbery bid, dies
Hyderabad, October 26 (Siasat News): The security guard, who was attacked during the theft at Madhura Bar, died on Tuesday afternoon.
The security guard Pankaj Yadav had received severe injuries to his head during the robbery on October 20 in which Rs. 2 lakh were stolen.
One dead as car rams into bike
Hyderabad, October 26 (Siasat News): Srikanth Reddy, 33, resident of Nallkunta, died when a car rammed into his two-wheeler on Tuesday.
His wife and daughter who were traveling with him escaped with minor injuries. The car driver has been arrested and a case is registered against rash driving.
House burgled, aged man killed
Hyderabad, October 26 (Siasat News): The unidentified burglars killed an aged man in a house situated at Ayyappa Housing society in Madhapur and made their escape good with the gold chain of the wife of the deceased.
According to police sources, 65-year-old man Satyanarayana Murthy, a retired employee of APTransco, has been living on the first floor of the apartment along with his wife Varalaxmi.
Two burglars entered the flat and tied his wife with rope as both of them were sleeping. The deceased got awakened and out of frustration, the two burglars stabbed him with sharp weapons killing him instantly.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
