Girl ends life
Hyderabad, February 26 (Siasat News): Fearing that she may have performed poorly in her first year intermediate exams, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide by immolating herself at her residence in Nandanagar in Jeedimetla.
The girl, R Swetha, daughter of Mr. Srinivas Goud, was studying in a private college in Jeedimetla. Around 8.30 pm on Thursday, she locked herself in her room and then set fire to herself and died on the spot.
Jeedimetla police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Man found dead
Hyderabad, February 26 (Siasat News): A 22-year-old mentally challenged man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kushaiguda.
Police however, suspects that he was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle on Thursday night. According to the police, the victim, Shiva was a resident of Saibaba Nagar.
He had gone missing from his residence twice earlier. But this time, he was found unconscious on the road and was taken to the Gandhi Hospital by the police where he was declared brought dead.
