Gang of thieves arrested, 40 bikes seized

(Siasat News): Police has busted a seven-member gang involved in various robberies and thefts in Richakunda police commissionerate limits and seized 40 bikes from their possession.

It is said that Uppal and Medchal police has jointly did this operation and arrested all seven culprits. It is really regretting for police that the majority of the gang members were students.

This was disclosed by joint commissioner Mr. Shashidhar Reddy and said that the culprits used to steal the bikes from parking lots and sell them in Ibrahimpatnam, Matkoor, Yadagirigutta, L B Nagar, Tarnaka and Pochampally.

Wife ends life over husband’s harassment

(Siasat News): A woman committed suicide in Santosh Nagar as her husband used to harass her a lot.

Police sources said that Ayesha, 31, alias Shweta, was the wife of one Mohd. Akram, resident of Rakshapuram. He was in love with Ayesha and both got married some eight years ago. They have two children.

However, relations went sour between the duo and of late; they had started fighting with each other on some or the other matter.

Last night, they had a tiff where Ayesha took the extreme step of ending her life. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Decomposed body found in lodge

(Siasat News): Police has found a decomposed body from one of the room in a lodge situated at Afzalgunj. The lodge owner realized that a foul smell was emanating from one of the rooms.

He immediately informed the police and panchnama was done by police after reaching the spot. As per the details, one Pawan Kumar, 48, resident of Ashok Nagar colony, Kapra, had checked-in in a lodged situated at Afzalgunj on November 22 and found dead the next day.

Police further said that he had cut his hand veins with a blade and died due to the profuse loss of blood. Police is yet to ascertain the motive behind his suicide.

Further investigations are underway.
