Husband set wife ablaze
(Siasat News): A tyrant husband set his wife ablaze in Kushaiguda. Police also confirmed that Nirija, 30, was torched by her husband.
Resident of BhratNagar, Kushaiguda, Sekhar got married to Nirija some 8 years ago. However, the couple remained issueless and developed differences.
To sort out the matter between the two, both were counseled many times and it did not produce any result. Sekhar had started torturing his wife since last two years and the situation had turned from bad to worse.
Nirija had no other option but to take this matter to the police. On June 18, Sekhar took the extreme step of killing his wife by pouring kerosene on her body and setting her ablaze.
She died last night during the treatment. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Woman died after trying to kill her children
(Siasat News): A woman who torched her children alive and attempted suicide, died on the spot. This incident occurred in Golconda.
However, her children survived and are under treatment. Inspector Golconda Syed Nayeemuddin Javeed said that the deceased Prabhavathi alias Lavanya, 28, was the resident of Ibrahim Baug in Golconda. She was the wife of one Sekhar, a labourer.
As differences had developed between husband and wife the deceased had started living with her parents.
However, last night, she took the extreme step and poured kerosene on the bodies of her daughter Ambika, 10 and son Siddhartu, 8 and set them ablaze.
Not only this, she set herself ablaze too where she died but her children survived and under treatment with severe burn injuries.
