Rs. 7 lakh looted in broad daylight
(Siasat News): The robbers snatched a bag full of money from a woman in Vanasthalipuram and fle4d the scene.

According to inspector Vanasthalipuram Mr. Venakt Reddy, the woman Veera Bharathi, resident of HMT colony, Nacharam, had withdrawn a sum of Rs. Seven lakhs from Axis Bank for the registration of a plot of land. Her husband Janaki Ramiah was also with him.

However, after drawing the money, while going home, they felt thirst on the way and halted for some time to drink coconut water. And that was the time when robbers on a motorbike, strike and snatched the bag containing the cash as the attention of both husband and wife was totally on drinking coconut water.

Bharathi started screaming and the local people also assembled there. Later, Vanasthalipuram police was informed and the police team immediately reached the spot where they inquired about the robbers from Bharathi.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Gambling dens raided, 14 arrested

(Siasat News): The west zone team of commissioner task force has raided two gambling dens in Nandi Nagar and Krishna Nagar under Jubilee Hills police station limits and arrested 14 persons and recovered cash from their possession.

The west zone team had got a tip-off that two flats in Aditya Hills Paradise Apartment are used as gambling dens.

After the raid, the police arrested 8 persons from there and seized Rs. One lakh from their possession.

In another incident, another flat in S S Plaza Apartment was also raided and arrested 6 persons from there and recovered an amount of 1,61,000 from there.

All arrested persons are handed over to Jubilee Hills police.

Two die in road accidents

(Siasat News): Two persons died in two different road accidents occurred in Kachiguda and Maheshwaram police limits.

According to Kachiguda police, Syed Noor, 56, resident of Akash Nagar, Amberpet, were crossing the road yesterday where he was severely hit by an RTC bus and sustained injuries. He died during the treatment last night.

In another accident, one Narayana, 75, resident of Chinna Toopran, was crossing the road yesterday where he was hit by a motorbike and succumbed to his injuries last night.

Police has registered both the cases.

Student ends life

(Siasat News): A student who was afraid of failure in examination, ended his life by hanging.

This incident occurred in Madhapur police station limits where 19-year-old student Suresh Kumar took the extreme step.

Further investigations are on.
