Money stolen from a house at Humayun Nagar
Hyderabad, May 25 (Siasat News): Burglars made their escape good after stealing Rs. 10,000 from a house situated at Humayun Nagar.
According to the details, Afzal Ahmed Khan, resident of Royal colony, had gone out for some work at 11 am.
However, when he returned, he was shocked to find the cupboard unlocked and Rs. 10,000 missing from it.
Mr. Afzal immediately lodged a complaint with Humayun Nagar police station where the officers started the investigations.
Missing old man found dead
Hyderabad, May 25 (Siasat News): A 75-year-old businessman who went missing from his house in Mirchowk on Sunday was found dead at an isolated spot in Vanasthalipuram.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Rehman, a resident of Irani Galli. The police have registered a case of suspicious death.
Meanwhile, the sub-inspector Mr. K Bhaskar Rao said no injuries were visible on the body.
Corrupt officer arrested
Hyderabad, May 25 (Siasat News): the Anti-Corruption Bureau caught a mandal parishad development officer of Medak district for accepting bribe at his house.
The officer Rajiah, allegedly demanded the bribe to release funds for deep ploughing of agricultural lands under NREGA.
He was involved in another trap case in 2009, while he worked as a senior assistant at karimnagar.
Throat brutally slit
Hyderabad, May 25 (Siasat News): A 30-year-old woman’s throat was slit by a beggar at Habeebnagar on Monday.
Razia, also a beggar was allegedly attacked when she refused the assailant’s proposal for living together.
The incident took place near Aghapura nala. Razia’s body was shifted to Osmania General Hospital.
